Charles A. Anzelmo is a Partner with Anzelmo & Creighton engaging primarily in Workers’ Compensation Defense and Transactional Law. Charles earned his J.D. in 2016 from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University, where he was a member of the Chancellor’s List and earned a CALI Excellence Award for highest GPA in Real Estate Transactions. While in law school, Charles was the Editor-in-Chief of the LSU Journal of Energy Law and Resources, Volume IV. Charles is currently the Secretary of the Fourth Judicial District Bar Association Board.
Charles A. Anzelmo is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts, in the United States District Courts for the Middle, Eastern, and Western Districts of Louisiana, and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Charles was a former Associate at Taylor Porter in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where he engaged primarily in the areas of Health Care Licensing and Regulations, and Transactional Law. He also gained experience in several practice areas including contract disputes, construction law, general tort law, real estate law, and oil and gas law.
Charles graduated from Louisiana State University with Bachelor of Science Degrees in Construction Management with a minor in Business, and Kinesiology: Human Movement (Physical Therapy).
Prior to law school, Charles worked in the commercial construction industry as a project manager and site superintendent in Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas. Charles also worked as an independent petroleum landman.
In his free time, Charles enjoys spending time with his wife, Sallie, and daughter, Alice, as well as fishing, hunting, and supporting the LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints.
